Lynchburg Regional Airport provides commercial passenger service through two regional carriers: American Airlines operated by American Eagle and United Express operated by SkyWest.
Passengers should plan to arrive at least 2 hours before scheduled flight departure to allow adequate time for checking luggage and obtaining boarding passes before the ticket counter closes. Airline employees cannot issue boarding passes or check luggage after the counter is closed.
American Airlines’ regional carrier, American Eagle provides service through Charlotte International Airport (CLT) with several arrival and departure options daily. The Close-In and Economy parking lots are available for public use. Both parking lots are an easy walk to the passenger terminal. The sidewalks are equipped with incline ramps and handrails to assist those passengers with special needs. Cash and credit cards are accepted by the collection booth during its hours of operation. A self-service credit card payment machine is available 24 hours a day.

Ground Transportation
Lynchburg Regional Airport has three car rental companies located inside the passenger terminal. The rental car pickup and return lots are located adjacent to the passenger terminal. Bus service on the Greater Lynchburg Transit Company (GLTC) is available. Arrangements for taxicab or limousine service must be made in advance or upon arrival at the passenger terminal.
